What are Account Hot Lists?
Account Hot Lists are centrally managed, read-only target lists designed to guide field activity. Unlike standard Account Lists—which field users often create and manage themselves—Hot Lists are defined, data loaded, and distributed by Business Admins.
By loading Hot List data into the system, Business Admins align the field's daily activities with the organization’s broader weekly or monthly strategies.
Key Characteristics
- Time-Bound - Every Hot List has a defined Start Date and End Date. A list only appears to users when it is active and relevant.
- Territory-Specific - Lists are assigned to specific territories, ensuring that users only see the priorities relevant to their geographic assignment
- Centrally Controlled - Field users cannot add or remove accounts from a Hot List, nor can they change the ranking. This ensures strict adherence to the home office's strategy.
