What are the different levels of consent for an HCP?

Consent Capture supports multiple levels of consent, from broad to granular, allowing customers to tailor the consent system to their exact needs:

  • Account – The HCP grants consent to receive all communications for a specific channel or to allow their activity to be tracked in Vault CRM, for example, Messaging (regardless of the phone number) or CLM activity tracking
  • Channel Value – The HCP grants consent to receive communications for a specific channel value, for example, a specific email address
  • Veeva channels – Approved Email addresses
  • Custom channels – Phone numbers, other email addresses, data storage
  • Channel Line – The HCP grants consent to receive a specific type of communication for a specific channel
  • Product – Only receive communication about a specific product
  • Content type – Only receive a specific type of communication, for example, promotional or clinical
  • Sub channel – Only receive communication for this channel during a specific period of time. This is generally used for recurring or temporary forms of communication, for example, a marketing campaign.

Customers can manage consent in an external system and integrate the system with Vault CRM, allowing them to display and enforce consent for email or messaging channels. See Displaying External Consent for more information.
