What is a Multichannel Cycle Plan?
MCCP are plans that help organize and track sales and marketing activities across different channels to reach key goals. MCCP provide a structured framework designed to streamline and coordinate cross-channel sales and marketing campaigns. They enable MCCP admin users to manage outreach efforts across multiple communication channels—for example, face-to-face meetings, emails, and media—by setting clear goals, assigning targets, and monitoring progress against those goals.
Each MCCP is composed of two main elements:
- Cycle - The cycle defines the overarching structure, including dates, channels, products, and weights
- Cycle Plan - The cycle plan provides territory-specific goals for field user activity against specific channels, target accounts, and products. Each cycle plan is associated to a parent cycle.
Field users can use Multichannel Cycle Plans as a reference for:
- Their strategic work plan
- Who their targeted accounts are
- A reminder of goals for those targeted accounts
- Seeing how far along they are in achieving a goal
Managers can track users’ progress and give feedback, guidance, and coaching to the users based on their plan progress.
