Which meeting platform should I select?

Engage meetings and Microsoft Teams meetings are two different applications and experiences that Vault CRM is bringing together to help streamline and simplify processes for field teams. While Engage meetings are embedded within Vault CRM, Microsoft Teams is a separate application. Here are some things to consider:

  • You still have the ability to schedule and start a Microsoft Teams meeting from within Vault CRM just like you would for an Engage meeting. However, once you select the Start button, Microsoft Teams displays that familiar set of controls.
  • In-meeting features like the ability to chat or record the meeting are based on what your organization already defined. The one exception is that Vault CRM will always enforce a passcode to enter a meeting, although we assume that this is likely already configured for most.
  • When you run a meeting from Microsoft Teams, depending on the platform you're using, you can share the entire desktop or select which window to share.
