Why do I need to capture a remote signature?
To meet the regulatory and compliance requirements in your country, signatures are required as proof of HCP consent for various call activities, including sampling, sampling opt-in, and medical inquiries. With the increased popularity of remote interactions, the availability of remote signature capture means you can capture call activities without ever leaving your office.

When capturing remote signatures for sampling, the samples must be BRCs. See Capturing Remote Signatures for BRC Samples Using Share Link (Sign Now) and Capturing Remote Signatures for BRC Samples During Engage Meetings for more information. |
Say you’re in an Engage meeting with an HCP and they ask you a question about the product that you can’t answer. You create a medical inquiry for a MSL who can answer the question, and you need the HCP’s signature in order to submit it. You capture their signature remotely and submit the inquiry.
Perhaps the HCP opted in to receive samples of the product a year ago and wants to continue receiving the samples. The sample opt-in signature from a year ago is about to expire, so you renew the sample opt-in signature remotely and can continue to disburse samples to them for another year.
