Challenge - Create your first Event Configuration
Your very first Events Management record will be an Event Configuration record. Create one with the following attributes:
- Controls Speaker Programs
- Is valid from January 1st, 2026 to December 31st, 2030
- Has one associated Event Country record making the Event Configuration valid for events in the United States
Solution
To create an Event Configuration:

Navigate to the Event Configurations tab.

Select Create.

Enter speaker_program__v in the Event Type field.

Select January 1, 2026 for the Start Date.

Select December 31, 2030 for the End Date.

Select Save.

Expand the Event Configuration Countries section.

Select Create.

Select US for the Country field.

Select Save.

Select Save.

Navigate to slide 3 and confirm the update.
