Congrats!
You've completed the Walk-In Attendees Flightpath. You now know how to handle uninvited attendees at every stage, from capturing their information at the event, manually entering walk-ins from a paper sign-in sheet, reconciling walk-ins to existing accounts, creating new accounts when no match exists, and resolving duplicates when the same person appears twice.
With walk-in attendee management in Vault CRM, your team can handle the unexpected with confidence. No more scrambling after the event to figure out who was there. And no more missed opportunities when a new HCP walks through the door.

Challenge – Create a New Account for a Manually Entered Walk-in Attendee
You've just wrapped up a speaker program where you used a physical sign-in sheet. One person attended who was not invited, Dr. Joan Chen. This attendee is not one present in your Vault CRM instance, meaning that in order to close your event, you’ll need to reconcile her to a new account.
- Navigate to the speaker program.
- Select Attendee Reconciliation from the All Actions menu.
- Select New Walk-in.
- Enter Dr. Joan Chen’s information.
- Select Save.
- Select Dr. Joan Chen's new walk-in record.
- Select Search for Matches.
- Select New Account.
- Populate all additionally necessary fields. Several of the fields should be prepopulated from the walk-in record.
- Select Create to reconcile the walk-in to a new account.
