What are the Suggestion Types and how do they drive action?
Suggestions are categorized by type depending on the action they encourage their field users to take. Each Suggestion Type, except for Insight, includes a button on the Suggestion so field users can easily take action. Let’s look at each Suggestion Type:
-
Call - Allows field users to schedule a call directly from the Suggestion with a specific account. Call Suggestions even consider the account’s preferred channel, for example, video or in-person, as well as a recommended date and time based on their availability. Other common use cases for the Call type include:

Call Pacing - Alerting a field user that they’re falling behind on call goals for specific targets

Consider Andy Admin as he prepares for the launch of Natevba, a product treating Parkinson’s disease. Let’s follow Andy to see how he uses different Suggestion Types to guide his field teams and drive the appropriate action:
-
Call - Andy sees that his field team has not visited Dr. Ackerman in three weeks. He creates a Call type Suggestion to ensure they meet the territory’s call cadence goals for high-priority Parkinson’s targets.
-
Call Objective - The marketing team has created a CLM presentation for Natevba’s clinical results. Andy creates Call Objective type Suggestions with the CLM content to automatically surface the content when the field teams detail their accounts.
-
Email - Some of the HCPs at Mid Maine respond particularly well to digital contact. Andy uses the Email type to prompt the field team to send a follow-up email containing Natevba’s safety data after one of these HCPs attended a branded webinar.
-
Event Attendee - To drive peer-to-peer advocacy, Andy creates Event Attendee Suggestions to prompt the field team to invite high-priority accounts to attend local educational sessions
-
Insight - Andy learns that a competitor product has recently gone off-formularly. He pushes an Insight Suggestion so the field team can lead their upcoming meeting with Natevba’s superior formulary access.
