What are the components of X-Pages Studio?
Before building anything, let’s look at how X-Pages Studio is organized.
Pages Tab
The Pages tab is your central hub for all individual X-Pages, listing all X-Pages you have visibility into. This is where you create X-Pages, edit their layouts, and deploy them to your Vault CRM environments.
Use the Pages tab to:
-
Create X-Pages from a blank canvas or via a template
-
Edit existing X-Pages by adding data and arranging layouts
-
Deploy completed X-Pages to your Vault CRM environments
Studio Templates Tab
This is where reusable X-Page templates are organized. Templates determine the data displayed and how they’re arranged. Rather than building every page from the ground up, you can use ready-to-go, productized templates from the Studio Template Library as-is or customize them to fit more unique needs. Distribution Channels Tab
This tab is for advanced scenarios where your organization uses Custom Display Elements. These are custom-coded components created by third-party developers, for example, a unique button, proprietary chart, or branded data visualizations. You don’t need to visit this tab often or at all as you’re getting started with X-Pages. But when needed, this is where you upload, test, publish, and manage any Custom Display Elements.
Use the Distribution Channels tab to:
-
Upload and test custom display elements
-
Publish elements to make them available for use in your X-Pages
-
Manage the domains with access to the components
