How do I decide what content to display?

An X-Page is only as useful as the decision-making behind it. Before you open X-Pages Studio, it’s worth asking the question - “What do I want my users to do, and what information do they need to act?”

Let’s follow Amy, a business admin at Verteo Biopharma as she prepares to deploy X-Pages for their field teams. Verteo’s field teams include oncology field reps who spend much of their day visiting HCPs, as well as regional managers who track team performances across their territories. To create X-Pages that both teams find effective, Amy strategizes what each team should be able to do and the required information before planning the following X-Pages.

A Pre-Call Planning X-Page for Sales Reps

Verteo’s field reps typically have 10-15 minutes between calls. They need a fast, scannable briefing on their HCPs to quickly prepare. Amy decides the Pre-Call Planning X-Page should answer the following questions:

  • Who is this HCP, and what are their communication preferences?

  • What was discussed last visit, and what’s outstanding?

  • Are there open Suggestions or pending actions to prioritize?

Based on this, the X-Page includes account details and preferences, recent call activity, multichannel engagement metrics, and open Suggestions. Amy also adds Deep Links to take reps directly into a call record or Suggestion so that the X-Page not only informs, but also drives action.

A Territory Overview X-Page for Regional Managers

Verteo’s regional managers start their week by reviewing how territory performance is trending. They need a high-level view of field rep and product performance, not individual account details. Amy decides the Territory Overview X-Page should answer the following questions:

  • How are the field reps performing against goals?

  • How are products performing against goals?

  • How does this territory compare to other territories and the region overall?

Based on this, the X-Page includes consolidated team performance metrics, individual sales goals, and regional/national comparison data.
