How do I create an X-Page?
When creating an X-Page, the method you select determines your starting point, how you arrange and build the page, and whether you can edit it later using X-Pages Studio’s native tools.
Here’s a summary of the key differences:
| Method | Staring Point | Primary Use Case | Native Editability |
|---|---|---|---|
|
New Page |
A blank canvas |
Creating a unique X-Page with full control by adding and arranging all data elements |
Fully editable in X-Pages Studio |
|
New Page from Studio Template |
A pre-configured X-Page template |
Quickly creating a standard, pre-defined X-Page that serves a specific use case |
Fully editable in X-Pages Studio |
|
New Page/Custom Page from File |
Determined by the external .zip file containing custom code |
Deploying developer-created X-Pages |
Not editable in X-Pages Studio. Only content created in Studio can be edited in Studio. |
