How do I decide what content to display?
X-Pages is about creating very tailored landing pages that help encourage good behaviors from users. Your X-Pages content should be directly actionable. For example, you can use Deep Linking to create flows for the actions you want users to take, such as navigate to a call. More on using Deep Linking in a future Flightpath!
Use Cases
There are two common use cases for X-Pages:
- Complete account view - Get a better understanding of the current account to better plan your day. Obtain a detailed view of an account's preferences, beliefs, suggestions, alerts, and basic performance data or track the history of resource utilization (samples), content usage, reach, and frequency by channel.
- Complete territory view - Get a better overall view of the accounts in your territory. Gain a consolidated view of performance for the team across a territory in regard to reach, frequency, channel usage, sales vs. goal, share trend for the territory vs. region, and nation.
Planning your content
Before you start creating content, think about what specific behaviors you want to encourage in field users. What are the practices of your best field users that you want everyone to adopt? What would allow average users to become better?
Consider the following prompts for information as possible content areas.
Pre-Call Planning (Accounts)
- What do I need to know about this person/company in 5 min?
- What are my unfulfilled Suggestions for the HCP?
- What are my recent activities and calls?
Territory Planning
- What do fields users need to know to plan their daily route?
- What hyperlinks would field users with account route planning and HCP identification?
- Is there any information the field users should focus on when making decisions?
